I've built and hosted a couple of websites so I knew what I was doing but I wanted a web hosting company that had good customer service and who promised high uptime on their web hosting. They've ticked the boxes repeatedly on these two essential needs and their prices are good. I was like D-OH!! when immediately I came across problems using my FTP client but I sent off a support ticket to the customer support and waited and within about 24 hours they had got back to me with the answer I was looking for. Certainly didn't have to wait days!! I got my website built and maintaining it is fun thanks to the features of the cPanel on my account as well as reading their forum and online tutorials. Any company that gives out all that information for free is great. Anyway that was like two years ago and I am still here now - such a procrastinator didn't write a review yet (um do it tomorrow...) There is no reason for me to change theyve exceeded my expectations. The prices of their accounts are cheap, they have a very good up-time and another reason I've stayed IS the friendly, responsive support I get from the customer support team for web hosting. Really likin' it. |

by Richie - 2010-06-01 : With the services here I've managed to designed my very own first website with help of the website builder – Bluevoda - I found that this was what my brother had used to design his site and I followed their directions and published it and it only took me a couple of hours to get all of this done fine. I followed the tutorials which have helped immensely - the best thing for me - I’ve learned a lot about web hosting and whatever the queries I had in my mind are answered by the customer support in email and in the forum so it's all good. Web hosting here was easier than I could ever have ever imagined. I'm no pro sure but its been excellent web hosting for me. I'd recommend. |

The presentation was good, it had all the tools that a starter/web designer may need and the extra tools like Soholaunch used seemed very good. Until my root account had to be reconfigured so I had to install Soholaunch again and restored the backup I did a couple of months earlier. Not only the restore within soholaunch didn't work but the vodahost customer suport has not found out yet the reason. A month after serveral email back and forth I've been waiting for 3 days since the last emal I've sent them, and I haven't been able to work on my website for almost a month. I checked the soholaunch forum and someone else mentioned on the forum that the restore/backup didn't work on the free version on soholaunch. At this point on time Im glad that this has happened before the website was fully live. But it leaves me wondering if I did the right thing signing up with them. I need a reliable,professional and with the lowest possible down time web site on the worst of cases.That implies a very good, fast, knowleable customer service and a reliable technology specially for backup / restores. The bluevoda is great and say what you will but I've found it well supported and there are tutorials for everything every feature. I'd say that it'd be difficult to get it wrong actually. tech guys for me were good and they answered my questions, def wouldn't say nothing but good. Would say in general straightforward and easy, though, seriously. Cheap also for features. Im happy with them. |

by Brandon - 2010-04-16 : When I started my webhosting my knowledge was nil. I don’t know if you need a shopping cart or not, but here are my suggestions, (though not solicited). I started out with the BlueVoda website builder and ended up going with Soholaunch. Either way, stick with it. These guys rock and will be there for you all the way. Friendly forums and quick answered support tickets! The Forum is for me one of their greatest assets, which by itself is already an incredible bargain. Kudos to them for a job well done. They have a lively forum and a great support team that makes it easy to go about making a great site in very little time. To those seeking a free webuilder and a great hosting service I recommend them as the best of the best. Try it yourself…it’s well worth the time! |

It’s all pretty easy to use. their webhosting package comes loaded with some cool tools to assist in website designing as well not least the cpanel which makes sense. i have not seen any other webhosting company offering so many useful and business-essential features like this one does especially with things like the soholaunch website builder which has all your shopping carts or other programs you might be more familiar with. overall I’d say it is quite affordable, great for a small-business person like me and does not have anything i would consider to be a hidden cost. the support team is really good though I haven’t used them that much, can resolve issues fairly fast. they advertise a 99.9% uptime guarantee and honestly I have never experienced downtime ever since I have started using their webhosting services. i am a satisfied client and I am even more satisfied to see my website up and running 24/7. it has helped me in increasing my client list by providing the complete webhosting solution i was looking for. i suggest you guys try their webhosting service i’ve had a hassle-free with this webhosting co. |

I found that web hosting didn’t really involve any of the hiccups that I’d initially feared and I’ve found them to be highly reliable; I’ve not been hassled because of uptime issues which is essential for my online trading as downtime would result in loss of business and frustrated clients. Everything here is as stated regarding web hosting and price which, as it happens, is real reasonable considering all the features it provides beyond web space: the cPanel controls, the free advanced site-building tools like SohoLaunch and Drupal for all your web designing etc. etc. and as many websites as you like hosted for no extra cost. Other web hosts I’ve visited really didn’t do it in a language that a relative layman (like me, I guess) could understand and their support services just weren’t as good as they are here. Only these guys here explained everything in a way that I understood. As I got down to doing my own web hosting I wasn’t very confident but as I followed the all the instructions, I was happy that I chose a fine web hosting company. They even provide free to use templates to make new websites or update existing websites. The customer support has been really good. Now I’m pretty happy and proud of the web hosting that I’ve setup for myself. My friends saw my website and asked me how much it had cost; I replied I did it myself with this totally reasonable web hosting package. My friends were surprised at this and some didn’t believe me that I’d gotten it all sorted myself. Joy of joys some may have even been envious. I just basked and thank they who’ve helped me out. For all 3 years I can talk with customer serv. repr. by the phone---- when you dial you even can't leave a message !!!! I agree for help tickets you will be wait 3 days and more same times, and the answers helpless! I find out they are resaler from Blue Host (cost me $3.95!!!)-- which I love right now . Try Blue Host they one from the best hosts. Ones again NEVER host your site on Voda Host. |

If you require fast support don't hold your breath! Your not going to get it. My average support ticket set to high priority took 3 days just to get the initial response. After that it would take another 5-7 days to sort the problem out because they would only respond to me once a day! As for all the positive comments here don't believe them. They're most likely employees as well as a customer of Vodahost hosting their own sites with the company they work for. And one more thing I want to say is, Vodahost as well a many other nickle budget hosting companies all share a common deception. They con you in with the term "Unlimited". Nothing is unlimited! There is a limit to everything. |

Haven’t used too many of the website features (there are loads on their website); haven’t found that I’ve needed them for my site just yet … Got on the band wagon cos a good friend of mine was using their hosting of so I figured I was going to use them on his recommendation; he seemed happy with what he was paying for. Think it’s perfectly fair at $7.95 per month – it can be cheaper with double year billing but this is what I pay - the features are there and it just works. BlueVoda’s really good (it’s a simple website builder but kinda another story; check it out though). Really like the add-on domain feature which lets you host more than one website from your one account and I’ve got another site that’s slowly comin to life. I’ve put in a coupla support tickets about it and it seems pretty easy the customer guys sent me to video tutorials to walk me through. I have my website up, have my e-mails sorted. I’m perfectly happy. |

And if you are willing to pay on an annual basis, VodaHost give you a further discount. Therefore their rates can be met even by amateurs who are just entering the field and have very limited capital. Do you ever think internet hosting can get any better? No. These guys have everything a website builder could need in hosting his website. Their professionalism is what brings me more clients and keeps my existing clients coming back. First they told me they suspend my account because i dont pay, when i send to them the the receipt of the payment, they change that i was spreading virus. The are horrible, i dont advice anybody to host with them. They destroy my business that i work on for past 3 years. Even if there is something wrong they can contact me and inform me , but not without notice suspend my site , and refuse giving me the datas that is my own. They just dont care, i send to them several support tickets, without they reply to me. I just cant understand this type of company. They dont know that one unhappy customer can cost a lost of even a 1000 000 customers |

Looking at the price I figured that even if web hosting company VodaHost were unable to provide the all the features listed, as long as they’re not down every 20 minutes!!, then there isn’t much risk involved. I bought an account and started using the VodaHost web hosting services. One by one I applied myself tested all the features offered and I have no hesitation in saying that VodaHost offer all their web hosting services along with their web hosting itself to a very high level of satisfaction and that too at no additional cost. Hats off to them as there are no hidden costs in any feature that is offered by VodaHost. Everything is laid out before you. Since I became member of VodaHost I have availed myself of most of the features. The experience hasn’t been frustrating in the least. Hosting Providers that offer LOW COST but MAX OPTIONS services that I CAN ACTUALLY USE without going “HUH, WHUH???” everyday causing me to repeat 1-3 on a weekly basis. Earlier last year, I started working online designing pages for specific products and services, basically marketing them. Being a graphic designer with advertising/marketing background, I was very picky about what tools and services I would look for to compliment my creative style and the way I process information to solve a problem. Also, at the time, I was very broke. It was about May, I think, when I found a link to BlueVoda’s website builder page. Now, ask ANYONE that knows me.. I don’t buy into anything no matter how attractive the offer! But by the time that video was over I had no doubt that the web hosting deal was to be a good one, especially with all the information provided to me, the customer, in video tutorials about the control panel and such. When I downloaded BlueVoda and opened a VodaHost account, I knew I was finally home. I’ve had a few problems with web hosting before and decided to do a really thorough trawl through the web hosting providers. I just wanted something professional and straightforward. They mention on their website that “VodaHost is one of the most trusted & reputable web hosting providers on the internet.” At first I thought VodaHost would be like some other web hosting companies who promises to do great web hosting things at first and only then, when they have your money, show their true colors. Anyway, I gave VodaHost a try because I liked all the stuff that was going on with the info on their website. I’m really pleased that I took up web hosting with VodaHost. A few of the features that I’ve enjoyed using (and make me happy with my choice of VodaHost) are the unlimited disk space; The unlimited bandwidth – I’ve used the services of several other web hosting companies and I took forever for my images to load; The way you can add add-on domains (you do have to pay a little extra for this, though); I’ve only had one instance of my website being down and that was only for an hour or so; The VodaHost customer services at VodaSupport are really knowledgeable and send help or ask relevant questions pretty fast. I’d say in a few hours on average; There are payment plans to suit the pocket. I pay annually for VodaHost web hosting but I think I’m going to change to tri-annual billing because it seems to be better value; The VodaHost control panel is pretty self-explanatory and just plain pretty. I highly recommend VodaHost web hosting if you’re like me and use the internet to make money. |

Although I worked very hard on the site, it just didn’t look professional enough and I was limited on how I wanted it to look. So my search began for the right web hosting company. Seems like when the “what’s the best web hosting company” question comes up, most choose the same company or the company at the top of yahoo or whatever but to me it was so hard for me to weed through all the features and if you wanted more features you had to pay more money. Then came BlueVoda and VodaHost. What a breath of fresh air. I downloaded the free builder. It’s really impressive and easy to use … I found I could create my site exactly the way I wanted it to be. As a programmer, I have a lot of experience in many technical platforms such as ASP, PHP and others. With over 100 websites and web applications under my belt, it is a fact that I have tried a lot of web hosting companies for varied needs of my customers. For the fist three years, I have been through hell, trying out web hosting companies and a lot of clients calling me in the middle of the night to tell me that their website was down. Most of the hosting companies had no customer support to speak of and even if they had one, they responded in weeks, meanwhile, you can imagine how the client would be o my back to get the website up..! by Louis - 2009-07-31 : I bought into the hype about how great the service is. I purchased a yearly hosting plan. All of the sales presentation sounded really great.. They said they go all out to help and all that kind of stuff. When I ran into a problem accessing the database for my site, I was simply told, "you must be doing something wrong" and simply closed the support ticket. They told me they do not support the script that they offer for forms, while in the documentation for the same script, they say that all I have to do is contact support and they will be glad to help. I have been installing scripts for 7 years. I know when there is a problem with accessing a database. And I don't expect to be treated like I'm a novice when I ask a question. If I hadn't installed the same script on one of my other sites, on a different server, I might have bought into the statement that I was doing something wrong, but that wasn't the case here. I checked and double checked several times, to no avail. I was curious about the fact that they offer no guarantee on their service. And they offer no refunds, but I ignored my reservations and signed up. The software is nice, and easy to use, but in order to publish my web pages, I was required to have hosting with them. So, I did it. If I were going to have a simple website, and didn't need a database, I may not have run into a problem, since I wouldn't have needed them to try and help me figure out why I could not access the database. So, after two days with them, I did contact support. Wow, what a bunch of Cold, we don't care bunch of people. The attitude I received was (to put it simply) "we have your money, if you don't like us, go somewhere else". In my opinion, Vodahost doesn't have the expertise to provide the support they claim they provide in their pre sales advertisements. If you need hosting and want to use a nice program for building your website, I would think long and hard before hosting with Vodahost. I don't like throwing one hundred dollars away. And that is just exactly what it turned out to be, throwing my money away. I had to move my site to be able to get the script I needed for forms to work. Vodahost is the worst service I have run into in seven years. |
