Slow servers, and email problems. i almost have to babysit my server to make sure it is running up to par. i am just gald i didn't register my domains with them. I am going to switch hosts Next Year!!! |

Intellwiz.com is the best according to me. I have been using them for 4 months now, and, i love them. They have the cheapest rates and they deserve to be the best Budget hosting company. |

by MD - 2010-09-07 : WEBHOSTINGPAD.COM IS REALLY BAD NEWS!. I used them for the last year. Their service was OK although I experienced many times when the site ran realy really slowly. I usually took a couple of back and forth exchanges with tech support to clear it up which meant the site was running poorly for several hors at least. Either that or sit on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone. SO, here's where it gets REALLY BAD. I decided after a year of this that I had prepaid for that the company wasn't suiting my needs, so I did not want to renew. When renewal reminder e-mails came in I tried to reply saying I wasn't interested in renewing. They bounced back. 12 DAYS LATER I STARTED RECEIVING COLLECTION CALLS AND A LETTER FORM A COLLECTIONS AGENCY. YES, THIS COMPANY SENT A COLLECTION AGENCY AFTER ME FOR SERVICES THEY HADN'T PROVIDED AND I SAID I DIDN'T WANT. The billing department rep was rude and unresponsive to any discussion about trying to resolve this in any other way than paying this full years prepaid fee. |

I tried to e-mail them when they sent requests for renewal payment saying I didn't want to renew. THEY THEN SENT A COLLECTION AGENCY AFTER ME FOR SERVICES THEY HADN'T EVEN PROVIDED! As of this posting the president of the company has blown me off when I asked to speak with him. |

by Jason V. - 2010-09-07 : Great customer care. I tell you there is absolutely nothing like being able to understand someone on the other end of the phone. I was wholly expecting to have this service outsourced (because of the incredibly low price) but there was someone on the other line who I was able to understand perfectly. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable about the cPanel and was able to help me get my website up and running in about 5 minutes. Not only did he diagnose the problem quickly he also walked me through how to fix it so that if I made the same mistake I would know how to fix the problem. It was quite a relief to not have to go through 20 minutes of recordings first as well. Everything from WHP has been top notch. |

by Dave - 2010-09-07 : Terrible hosting.... I have a website, it just a small forum.. (a Vbulletin forum). However, for loading my site, that always take more thang 20s. So, i went to "live chat" of webhosting pad. First time, the problem was resolved. After 2 days, the speed issue backed and very bad at that time, i submitted ticket, nothing improve. I decided i must move my forum to another host , i can't stay with that hosting quality. So, after cancellation of my account, I lost 2 days after sent many tickets and talk with the guys in live chat to take back my domain information. About the refund of my cancellation case, i asked them about that by submitting a ticket. However, I couldn't imagine the way they acted. 1st, they closed that ticket....then i opened it again and asked them why they did that... wow... after that ... i couldn't see that ticket again... I thought i will back webhostingpad when they improve their service... but now, i swear... i never back to that hosting company. |

Let me preface this review by presenting my opinion: Web Hosting Pad (webhostingpad.com) has been the worst overall hosting experience I have ever had, and I have had many. I signed up for one year of service at Web Hosting Pad ("WHP"). I was enticed by the huge space and bandwidth promises. I was naive and I soon found that it was a big mistake. Somehow I didn't think through the fact that hosting companies like WHP don't have the resources to really offer such huge space. They offer such huge space for marketing reasons and if anyone actually took them up on their feature list, they would be in trouble. If WHP is not a company using reseller hosting, then I don't have any advice for whoever is running things there other then fire everyone and start over. I mean it. |

I do not have a website. but i am looking forward to launch a site soon. so i went to live chat over webhosting pad. he dosent replied in professional way. it was like more of smilies and hunky funky stylo conversation with him. and it took about 11 minutes to him to answer my one query. i asked him whether "they support live video streaming support or not". thats it. I certainly do not suggest it specialy for newbies. |

They are sending automatically emails with links to support ticket and when I click the links my firewall are blocking the links telling me about spayware look like this ert47.a1.wrs. so I decide to cancel the account. I have used the cancellation request form but still not receive any response from them, only automatically links to the support ticket with the spayware link. My website look like this ,Simpson's constructions page, not accessible start page. I did not get my money refund, and they still are not answering my emails. |

After constant downtime with Webhosting Pad, and hardly ever my website up, I canceled my account with Webhosting Pad. After Webhosting Pad refused any refund, they instead sent a barrage of nasty emails, threatening legal action. Since our company relies on hosting services to provide our clients with websites, we have suffered damage of reputation and other costs associated with this dealing with Webhosting Pad. |

by Aaron Gooch - 2010-09-07 : Cold Hard Facts. For the price it is hard to beat. I am a programmer and found the tech support lacking. They could not help me get python scripts running. After a few days I figured it out myself, they simply don't care unless you hound them. Not unusual. When my site was down for 2 days straight they claimed they were installing a security patch. Don't know how a patch install takes 2 days. One day later the site was down again. They make you pay extra for everything. SSH, good luck, $20 extra. Unlimited Storage = wrong, they give you 10GB and if you go over they ask you switch to a private IP for $70 a month. So if you want to spend less you will get less. You have been warned. |

Now for the price, they are just as good as most hosters, but the certainly do not deserve the brilliant reviews I have seen here On their site they claim: "Secure Server OS Commerce Shopping Cart Password Protected Directories Open PGP/GPG Encryption " However when I called to get the Url for the "secure server" they told me they didn't provide free shared ssl it was $70.00 more a year with a dedicated ip When I asked why they offered : "Ecommerce Enabled w/ Secure Server " As they state on their home page, their answer was that their servers are secure. Just not SSL Also their customer service people are "less than freindly" and quick to shove you off to the support page which you can log into. Being a web geek for many years now I can figure most of this myself. But watchout Newbie. |

I post about 5 tickets/qeustions, and they just try to close them, instead of helping. All they did was provide the internet links I already surfed and studied. I wouldn't ask for help if I can figure out what I did wrong. They just keep asking what's my web site, and what's the procedures to reproduce... and finally i got this~ We don't provide coding support. Please check with your programmer to fix the issue with coding. [What exactly do you guys support?!] ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS, ARE THEY SURE THEIR PRE-INSTALLED CGIEMAIL WORKS! by Dean Harmon - 2010-09-07 : A very good Webhoster. I switched over to Web Hosting Pad because of a few reasons. One, they have Cpanel, which few other hosters offer at that price. Also their tech support is really good. Anything I needed changed or done was always done in a short amount of time, and their online tech support is phenomenal. I've only had one small problem and that is that the first time I uploaded my site, it disappeared a few days later, but I re-uploaded it and haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend them. |

Their support answers quickly, but they tend to forget about me often, making the chat sessions unnecessarily long. The couple of phone calls I've made to them revealed that they only had one (or a few more) people answering phones - and I got the same guy on chat. He wasn't helpful or friendly. When I chatted in (today even) with an issue adding domains, the chat "Technical Support Agent" answered that I had to email someone else. What's the point of chat support? During my first month (the month where you can get your money back if you're not satisfied) my site was quick and I didn't have any problems. After the first month, it got much much slower. I only use the site for a family website running wordpress, but it is almost unusable. I suspect they put the new accounts on the faster servers, and the older accounts (that are now stuck without an "out") on the slower... |

It is extremely slow 95% of the time. There were about two weeks where the servers were down. The worst part is that I work with flash video files. Recently, they decided to stop hosting flash video files. All of a sudden, my flash video files wouldn't work. After contacting them, they stated that the scripts were too large for the servers. They didn't contact anyone, but just let it disappear. I would stay away from them. They use to be great and now they are completely worthless. |

So...after cancelled...Problem with my domain...webhostingpad don't get for me domain, say.."you must apply to get your domain".
